Bulk Consent-Form PDF-to-Word Conversion
Converts consent-form PDFs listed in a spreadsheet into editable Word documents in bulk, with a status log.
Problem / Challenge
Anesthesia consent PDFs linked from a spreadsheet needed to become editable Word files. Done by hand, that meant downloading and copying each file one at a time.
Solution
A Python script reads the PDF links from the spreadsheet and downloads each file. It extracts the text with PyPDF2, writes a Word document, and logs the status of every file.
