Checkbox Form Answer Extraction (OCR)
Finds ticked boxes on scanned forms and reads the answer next to each one with OCR.
Problem / Challenge
Answers marked with ticks on scanned documents are hard to collect without reading every page.
Solution
Using OpenCV template matching, the tool detects tick marks above a confidence threshold. It crops the text next to each tick, reads it with Tesseract OCR, and saves the processed images for review.
