Engineering Drawing Title-Block Audit Assistant

Reads title-block fields from large drawing packages with OCR and compares revision and approval dates against the drawing index.

Problem / Challenge

Large drawing packages need their title-block data, revision and approval dates, and stamps checked. Normally that means reading every PDF by hand.

Solution

The tool converts PDF pages to images and finds the title block with OpenCV template matching. It reads the fields with Tesseract OCR and compares the extracted dates and values against the drawing index. It can optionally stamp the PDFs with a processing mark, and it writes audit and data-capture CSV files.
