Healthcare Operations Alert Workflow (Proof of Concept)
A demo proof of concept that checks on-site clients daily and raises an urgent alert in the EHR when none has been logged in 24 hours.
Problem / Challenge
Care teams using an EHR had to check every active, on-site client by hand to make sure an urgent alert was raised whenever none had been logged in the past 24 hours.
Solution
A scheduled service syncs clients from the EHR's API, filters to on-site clients and applies the 24-hour alert rule. It creates each alert at most once per day, retries failures safely, and records every action in an audit log and an operations dashboard.
How it works
- Sync clients from the EHR API
- Filter on-site clients
- Check the 24-hour alert rule
- Create the alert and notify
- Log, retry failures, update the dashboard
Status
Proof of concept (demo).
