Industrial Work-Package OCR Form Filler
Extracts work-order details such as location, tag and plant from maintenance work-package PDFs and fills them into Word forms.
Problem / Challenge
Maintenance and work-package PDFs had to be transcribed into Word forms by hand.
Solution
The tool preprocesses each page and runs Tesseract OCR. It uses pattern matching to pull out maintenance-system references and location, tag and plant fields, then fills in the Word forms.
